- Castaneda arranged a parley with John Henry Moore. John explained that they would give the cannon because of the Constitution of 1824. Castaneda said that he was only under orders and he didn't want to fight
- Yay!! We have defeated the Mexicans
- The Texans were still mad and started fighting the Mexicans with the cannon they had. They ended up killing two Mexican soldiers..
- The Mexicans had to retreat because they were under the order to not hurt any of the Texians unless necessary,
- The Texians ended up winning the battle which really boosted there moral.
