- The people from spain and the french helped by aiding the army in the revolutionary war because they were upset that they lost the last war and they wanted to take revenge on england and try and get off its power.

- Most of the fighting took in virginia but right after the battle of yorktown was the last major battle of the american revolution.What the french and americans did was that they bombarded the british wich made them surrender.

- The treaty of paris was signed after the war which declared that the war ended. After it was singed they made a painting with an empty space in it. Meaning that the british weren't in their because then it showed that they allowed the americans to be equal to them. And you get to see how stubborn and bitter they are because of it.

- The American Revolution was not just a war, also a change in ideas about government.Before the war Americans demanded their rights as English citizens, that idea was replaced with the idea of republicanism.-the people would govern and not a king-to place the good of the country above individual interests
