The French and Indian War was a battle between the British and the French over territory in the new world. The French in this case were allied with most of the Native American's however some took sides with the British as evidence by The last. of the Mohicans In the end, the British emerged victorious changing the course of history, especially for America and the Native Americans.

The war took place from 1754-1763 with the British emerging victorious after struggling towards the beginning of the battle.

The French and Indian war was fought primarily on the east coast of the modern day United States, however is stretched into parts of Canada as well.
WHERE?
The French and Indian War originally arose over a conflict about whether the French or British owned a strip of the Ohio River Valley. The larger over arching issue was which side would take control over North America and win the exploration race. The two sides declared war and the rest is history.
