  • God promises Abraham that his family will be a great nation, all people on Earth will be blessed through him and his family will be given the land of canaan.

  • Moses goes to Pharaoh and asks him to let the people of Israel go but, Pharaoh says no so God sends plagues to Egypt and after Pharaohs oldest son dies he agrees to let the people go.

  • During the long trip, the people of Israel got annoyed and frustrated at the fact that they have had to travel through the desert for so long. God provided the Israelites with food and water, but they still doubted him. They finally made it to Israel and started building it up.
  • After the people of Israel ask God for a human king and he gives it to them, the kings are a disaster. They lead the people of Israel into civil wars and they reject and lead other people away from God. One king, King David, gets a promise from God that one of King David'sdescendants is going to bring peace and blessing over the world. Kind David, before this promise was made, sinned really badly.
  • A king from your family is going to bless the whole world.
  • The kings still rejected God and lead the people away so God sent Prophets to his people to warn and convince them to stop sinning and turn back to God. If they didn'tstop sinning, then God will make a judgement- they would probably be driven out the land he gave them to live in and they would eventually get destroyed.
  • Turn back to God and his ways.
