Peasantyou have awoken. You've been asleep for 17 years and it's now 1362. Everything has changed, the feudal system is basically not a thing now, women rights have changed, and our nobles have fell apart and the kingdom. Many have fled the kingdom but there's still people.

What has happened to me and my family.

So the feudal system isn't really a thing now and women rights have changed?

Over the years, women gained higher status after the plague. Women were allowed to own their own taverns and farmlands. But once the Church try to gain back its former control this will all changed.

There's some of the land that some women own.

Women joined guilds and guilds ran shipping and textilebuisnesses. They joined it because it was more fair and easier to live a simple life.

What else did the guilds do.

The main point of guilds were to help the poor family's caused by the black death (plague survivors). They paid for burials, and dowries.

With so many people dead, the demand for workers skyrocketed. It drew the women into the labor force. The wealth brought them the power of choice when it came to marriage.

Women believed that they were better off after the plague than they were beforehand.
