- Dad, I am making models of Mesopotamia inventions for my History assignment.
- Josh, I did not know. That is an awesome model.
- Dad, did you know that the first text on clay tablet was found in Mesopotamia. Cuneiform was the first writing system. The writing was first represented as pictorial cuneiform then later changed to phonograms. The writing was mostly used in trade. Here is my model Dad. Do you like it?

- Dad, the map was also a Mesopotamia invention. The oldest map was discovered in Babylonia around 2300BC, The maps were simple sketches on clay tablets. The maps were used for military campaigns, hunting and trading.

- The wheel wasn't the idea of Einsteen but also a Mesopotamia invention. The first wheel was made from wood and wasn't used for transportation but was first invented to be used as a potter's wheel around 3500BC and was later added to chariots around 3200BC.

- Dad where do you think the idea of sailboat came from? The invention of the sailboat came from Mesopotamia. Transportation by land took a lot of time, so the Sumerians realized it would be easier to go by sea and river. They used the sailboat for trade, fishing and irrigation.
