- the penguin has a dominant allele that has 2 fins and the recessive allele has 1 fin. they have overproduced and since the weather is getting warmer they might not all survive.
- struggle
- the 2 penguins have overproduced and made a variation of their offsprings. since one penguin had a recessive gene of 1 fin some of the penguins have a 1 fin baby and some have 2 fin babies.
- seclection
- the weather has gotten warm and some of the ice has melted. Their inhabits have changed and for the 1 finned penguins, it's for the worst. there is a treat for the 1 fin penguins, they cant go in the water. they have to stay on land
- Diffrent reproduction
- for the 2 fins penguins, this isn't a problem it's honestly an advantage. They can now get food from underwater. For the 1 fin penguin, it is a struggle, the reason why is because they can't get food from the water, the reason why is they can't swim.
- since the 1 fin penguins have only been able to be on land and not in the water they haven't been able to get enough food to keep them alive compared to the 2 finned penguins that are able to be on the land and in the water. the traits arent passed.
- so since the 1 fin penguin, cant survive off of the food they have that means they will not be able to reproduce and they die. which makes the 1 fin penguin excited.
