William meets with Gilbert and tells him about his cool idea to build a windmill that will produce power. William shows him what he has so far. Gilbert is impressed and asks him where he got it from and he says he got it from the library. Then William goes to Geoffrey's house and into his room. Geoffrey finds the cassette player that they need and they get to work. William and Geoffrey start to test their invention and Geoffrey spins the blade. William takes the motor's two wires and touches them to his tongue. Geoffrey asks if he feels anything and he says yes, it works.
While William and Geoffrey figure out a way to power up the windmill; they realize that they can use Geoffrey's favorite radio to power it up and so they do. While the blade is spinning, the music of William's favorite group called the Black Missionaries comes on. William starts to jump up excitedly as the windmill starts to work. Then William starts to head to the scrap yard behind the old school in order to get pieces to help him build a bigger and more powerful windmill to save his village along with the rest of Malawi.
