- After 6 years of patrolling the streets of crime McCormick was awarded a promotion to his true calling Homicide Detective.

- As an experienced 35 year-old homicide detective with 8 years under his belt, McCormick has to collect and gather evidence related to the crime scene.

- In order for McCormick to find info about the murder he needs to search online for records and make phone calls to check for financials.
- Another responsibility is to talk to potential witnesses of the crime scene for more clues to find the suspect.
- A dangerous part of the job is trying to apprehend the subjects. It can get violent with guns or taking chase. Often times civilians can get in the way as hostages.
