- when Joseph brothers trade him to some merchants that were on their way to Egypt, Joseph was so talented that he gained great authority and status in Egypt, years after Joseph forgave his brothers, and he invited them and his father to leave famine-stricken Canaan and join him to live comfortably in Egypt under a kindly Egyptian pharaohs.
- Moses you are to lead the Israelite  from slavery to freedom
- But the time of peace and prosperity in Egypt under sympathetic rulers ended for the Israelites when they were enslaved by cruel pharaohs who burdened them with the backbreaking jobs of making bricks and constructing public buildings.
- Hundreds of years later a baby by the name Moses was born, but he was condemned to death by the ruthless pharaoh along with all Israelite baby boys. But Moses mother decided to send him down a river so that pharaoh does not kill him.
- When Moses Grew up, personal encounters with god led him to realize he had a mission to save his people  from slavery.
- After a mighty moral struggle with the Egyptian pharaoh, Moses eventually did lead the Israelites in an escape out of Egypt, but the pharaoh's soldiers and chariots pursued the Israelites to catch them and bring them back. God save the Israelites by parting the water of the sea and leading them across on dry land,
- Then the waters close back over the  Egyptians charioteers when they tried to cross in hot pursuit. The Egyptians drowned in the sea, and the Israelites were free!
