  • That is what treasure really means. I have been angry and mad at my dad, but at least he is still living, and he cares for me and my grades...
  • This is my treasure the thieves were after. It is very special to me as this was what I gave to my son when he went to war. Sadly he passed. I would do anything to see him again. Yes I was so good that people said if I sang at a funeral, the dead would commence to rocking with the beat.(Idom)
  • Greg is at home after school, when his dad was informed by the principal that Grag's math grades were not good. Greg is upset that since his grades are bad he won't be able to play basketball unless he gets his grades up.

  • Greg meets Lemon Brown in a building while leaving his house to clear his mind. It turns out that he has a treasure and there are thieves trying to steal it from him.
  • Resolution
  • I really am looking forward to that lecture. After all that has happened maybe its for the best.
  • Luckily, Lemon Brown was able to scare away the thieves. Lemon Brown reveled his treasure to Greg. It is a old, yellowed harmonica. Lemon Brown was a famous harmonica player. Greg was very suprised as he thought it would be very valuable but he teaches Greg that treasure does not always have to be valuable in money, but can have sentimental value.
  • Theme and Conflict
  • Maybe it was my fate to meet Lemon Brown today. I am very thankful for my dad, and have a lot of graditude twoards him.
  • Greg and Lemon Brown are saying goodbye. Lemon Brown plans to go to east St. Louis in the morning to ensure his saftey from the thieves.
  • As Greg walked home he thought about the lecture he knew his dad would give him and smiled, remembering what Lemon Brown had taught him. He was lucky to have his father.
  • After the lecture Gregs father had given him, he sat down and thought for a minute about how thankful he was.
