  • The Horse Deal
  • HI! I’m Equus Caballus (but more commonly known as horse). I evolved during the ice age in the Americas. I got bored, so there I migrated over to Eurasia, Africa, and Europe with some others.
  • Around 6,000 years ago, Europeans started to domesticate us, and other countries started to catch on. We were then bred to be larger draft horses, and to “be of more use” for around the farms and for hunting, as well as going into war.
  • Being a necessity of life back then, my friends and I returned back home to the “New World” during the late early 1600s after a fun vacation in Europe. Us horses were used to help explore unknown territory.
  • After being brought back, we were being used to doing awful things like invading cities. I didn’t want to do it, but if I didn't I would be killed. The native people were very kind to us though, and when they captured some of us, they let (most) of us horses escape into the vast plains of the Americas. The others were used to help with hunting and transportation.
  • Now, where we were transported back, is now home to myself and other wild mustangs. Now, people all over the world have horses somewhere in their city and about 75% of the population is domesticated. The people today even measure their engine power in 'horsepower.' You’ve most likely seen horses from racing, the olympics and show jumping.
