There is a population of colourful fish and colourless fish.
Initial Population
The number of fish rises by lots at a time. Even though there are lots of fish natural selection will happen and some of the fish will die of predators or lack of food and resources.
Overproduction of Offspring
Due to the world being so diverse and different the fish that live in the ocean are different. As shown above there is a clown fish and a normal fish. The clown fish having stripes and being orange and the regular fish being bland.
Genetic Variation
Since the clown fish are brighter in color than the regular fish predators can see them clearer through the water and will take the easy lunch. Due to this the number of clown fish will drop and the number of regular fish will rise.
Natural Selection
Due to the the clown fish being so bright and so easy to see the predators target them more and more making the clown fish species shrink and the regular fish grow.
Adaptation
As time passes the population of clown fish decrease and the regular fish species continues to grow creating either the extinction of the clown fish or the extreme drop of numbers.
