  • King George III has repeatedly tried to turn others against America. He has hired mercenaries to fight us, his troops have declared war on us, and he has encouraged others to be our enemies.
  • When we speak, we are out of place. When we protest, we get punished. Separating is the only way America gets freedom. All people should and will be equal, but right now we can't even vote. America has officially departed from Great Britain.

  • It has been well over 2 centuries since America gained independence. Now, we have a democracy as our government. Every citizen over the age of 18 gets to vote on our president and other minor leaders.
  • Believe it or not, Britain and the United States get along just fine now, and some might even say we are allies.

  • Because of the Declaration of Independence, the 13 colonies evolved into the 50 states. Today, everyone has freedom of speech and is allowed to ask questions. Most people no longer discriminate against other races, genders, and sexualities. Leaving the United Kingdom proved how our country can be powerful and showed how we can take charge.
