- " Is this a dagger which I see before me". Macbeth suddenly sees a dagger just appear in front of him floating.
- " I have thee not, and yet I see thee still. Art thou not, fatal vision.. ". He doesn't understand why he's seeing this mysterious dagger. Macbeth thinks it has something to do with the witches or maybe it's some kind of sign.
- This dagger is leading him to Duncan.
- " Thou marshall'st me the way that I was going; And such an instrument I was to use ". He's slowly making his way to Duncan's room and just keep thinking about what he's about to do.
- He sees Duncan and is getting ready to commit the murder.
- " I go, and it is done... ". The deed has been done and now he feels like he might get in trouble
