- It was Hannah's first day of freshman year and she had met 2 different groups who invited her to hang out with at lunch. Hannah was now in her class period before lunch and trying to decide what to do.
- Identify your Values
- The first group wanted to eat lunch at school and get to know each other better. The second group planned on going off campus, to one of their houses and smoke weed.
- Decide and Act
- HAHAHAHAHA
- Hannah thinks about all her outcomes. If she goes off campus, is it H- healthy: Smoking is definitely unhealthy.E- ethical: It is not because Hannah was planning on being a good student this yearL- legal: it isn't legal to smoke weed when they're all 14P- parent approval: Hannah doesn't have permission from her parents to smoke OR go off campus.
- Evaluate and Reflect
- Hannah had decided she wanted to be a good role model for her younger siblings when they got to high school. Surely, going off campus and smoking isn't the example she wants for them. There's also her parents to think about. They would be very disappointed if they found out.
- I'll race you up the stairs!
- Hannah decides to stay on campus and have lunch with her new friends in the cafeteria.
- Hannah knows she made the right decision and is really happy she won't disappoint her parents or siblings. No amount of "fun" is worth risking her own and her family's lives.
