  • After asking each of his daughters how much they love him, Cordilla responds saying that she only loves him as much as she should, and will not overly exagerate her love like the other 2 daughters. Enraged by this, Lear proceeds to banish her and any individual who speaks against his decision.
  • Whilst trying to defend Cordilla from being banished, Kent ends up getting himself banished for speaking against Lear’s choice.

  • Edmund frames Edgar with a fake letter describing a plot of conspiracy and “accidentally” leaks said letter to his father. Gloucester becomes enraged with Edgar. Gloucester ges into hiding to escape Edgar, as he fears Edgar will kill him

  • After framing his own brother for conspiracy, Edmund tells his brother to go into hiding, and explains that due to an eclipse, the world has gone mad and is trying to Kill him.”
  • After splitting up the kingdom, Lear sets out to spend time with his remaining daughters. Goneril and Regan plot against their father for his harsh decisions. Goneril instructs her servant to be ignorant to Lear, as he expects all the privilege of king.
  • The fool spends his time harassing Lear for his choices and actions. Calling him an unwise man, and a fool for expecting the same respect as King when he has split the kingdom.
