Most of ancient Rome's plays were merely for entertainment. Some of them were based on real-life stories and some were folklore that their parents told to them.
It was very important that you got a good education in the city of Rome. Usually, the rich people got more education so they had better job opportunities. Poor people would only be taught to read and write so they really didn't receive a formal education.
While men had much freedom, women didn't really have freedom. Many Roman women would take care of their kids and their homes. Rich women could get slaves to do some of their work around the house for them. And other women had jobs like being doctors and dancers.
The most common food and drinks found in ancient Rome that changed the world were wine, beans, olives, fish, and pork. These food items got distributed all across the world and now a bunch of people consume what the Romans ate back then.
