- In 1862 , a 19 year old girl named Mia and her sister were traveling west for the Homestead Act .She was going to grow crops and she felt happy to grow them with her sister .

- Mia and her sister are farming one day ,They notice the sky getting dark It stars raining and hail is coming down .A tornado Is coming straight toward them .

- Mia rushed sister to the town doctor because she was badly injured and didn't know if she had broken her leg . the doctor said she was okay .Mia so happy that her sister was okay .

- They both start to Run from the tornado but the tornado was to fast and Mia's little sister blew 55 feet away .
- Mia went back. to the farm to see that her crops were destroy . now they are back how she remember .
- 6 months later her farm was back up and Mia was happy she had her arm back. Now Mia has her farm new again .
