The fall of Constantinople

Emperor Constantine moved the Roman Capital to Zantium and renamed it Constantinople. This event is important because its a major deal to move the capital of Rome to a different area, plus this was beneficial because Constantine wanted a capital that allowed easy access to vast territories for trading.
In 527-565 CE, Emperor Justinian reconquered much of the Roman Empire, then collected the Roman Laws, and turned it into 1 law. These laws and opinions on each subject including religions. These laws made by Justinian became the basis of todays international laws.
In 1071, because of the continuous battles to the North, South, and East led to Seljurk Turks. Cit-states in Italy competed for Mediterranean trade with Constantinople, then in 1453, Constantinople conquered by Ottoman Turks.
