- In my opinion i think Laurie was very smart. He chose to create a fake student to save himself from all the trouble. He came home everyday making his parents think he is the innocent one in the class. Laurie threw in some hints that he is Charles but his parents never caught on. Although the things he did were horrible, you have to admit he was smart about pretending he caused no trouble.
