- Cinder is a 16 year old cyborg living in the futuristic city of New Beijing with her stepsisters and her horrible stepmother. A highly skilled mechanic, Cinder has a booth in the marketplace, and is visited by Prince Kai, who asks her to fix his android. An outbreak of a deadly disease spreads quickly through the marketplace and everything begins to unravel. Cinder’s world is about to change forever as she tries to save her stepsister’s life and, ultimately, the whole planet.
