  • Three Precious Items
  • These things are our greatest treasures. You may borrow them for a short period of time.
  • Thank you!
  • Beheading Medusa
  • Saving Andromeda
  • The nymphs gave three precious objects to Perseus. A pair of winged sandals which would let their wearer fly like Hermes himself; a cap which would render its wearer invisible; and a bag of silver with bright tassels of gold which could hold any amount of anything, weightless, inside itself. “These things are our greatest treasures,” said the nymphs. “You may borrow them for a short time only.” Perseus bowed his head in thanks.
  • Gift for Polydectes
  • Perseus walked backward into the camp of the Gorgons as silently as hecould, holding the shield of Athena before him reversed, looking only at the reflection of what lay behind him. He caught glimpses of the monsters in the shield, snoring contently, confident in their invincibility. Perseus stood above Medusa. He dropped the sword and threw himself on top of the thrashing creature, scrabbling for her head.
  • End of Journey
  • Perseus flies back home and save Princess Andromeda against the sea monster. Perseus took out the Medusa's head from the magical bag and showed it to the sea monster.
  • When Perseus arrives home in Seriphos, he confronts King Polydectes who's forcing Perseus mother, Danae to marry him. Perseus showed his gift to Polydectes that turned him into stone.
  • Perseus won his journey. Perseus was able to save his mother from Polydectes and Andromeda from the sea monster. Perseus gave back all of the things he borrowed and gave the head of Medusa to Athena.
