- In the fourth panel of my short comic, Rocky, after encountering a new behaviour from Damien researches about depression, trying to find ways of helping him out.
- GoogleI think my friend might be depressed, how do I help him through that?
- In my last panel, Rocky decided to research as much as possible about depression as possible as healthline says this will allow for them to understand better. He notices another symptom as he starts losing his appetite. Rocky approaches Damien and immediately establishes his understanding if he's not in the mood to talk, which leads him into possible support and helplines that Damien could go towards as healthline pushes this way of support evidently.
- Hey, I understand if you don't want to talk to me right now but I've noticed you haven't been eating a lot. I'm here if you need to talk to someone but I know a really great therapist that could help you out a lot.
- Yeah, thanks, I'll try going to him. Honestly, after what happened, i Just can't see myself as the same person anymore.
- He didn't eat today again, another symptom, I should say what I planned
- In the last panel of my storyboard, Damien comes out of therapy feeling great and starts the conversation for the first time in the story, signing to a successful return journey of his mental state. Rocky justifies his decisions, and still comes off very helpful even through his good mental state. Reassuring that he's always there for him and giving him an opportunity to try out for another basketball team.
- Man, therapy has helped me out so much. Thanks for all your support, even when I ignored you
- OMG, actually, I don't know how I could ever repay, thanks so much for everything
- Hey, I'm just helping my friend out man, anyways, I happen to have a person who coaches a team and he would love for you to try out for them.
