Testo Storyboard

  • Go faster, we are going to be late!
  • But I am already going 55 Mph
  • Max speed 60 Mph
  • Just go faster it's ok.
  • ok
  • Max speed 60 Mph
  • AAA!
  • Sami and Jack were going to a party, Sami didn't want to exceed the speed limit but jack kept on pressuring him.
  • I'm sorry they didn't make it.
  • I wish I didn't speed!
  • I have learned my lesson, you should never speed and always follow the speed limit, it is put there for a reason.
  • After a while, Sami accelerated form 55 Mph to 90 Mph which was way over the speed limit.
  • When they reached an intersection, they weren't able to control the car because they where going too fast and they crashed into another car.
  • Speeding triples the odds of crashing. [Source: AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety]Higher speeds mean more severe injuries when crashes occur. At 40 mph, a driver has a 15% risk of serious (or worse) overall injury. At 50 mph, the risk is 59%.At 55 mph, the risk is 78%. At speeds of 50 mph or higher, drivers also are at high risk (52% – 67%) of facial fracture and severe brain injury.(https://www.radarsign.com/)
  • Speeding was a factor in 29% of all traffic fatalities in 2020, killing 11,258, or an average of over 30 people per day. The total number of fatal motor-vehicle crashes attributable to speeding was 10,136.(nsc.org)
  • In 2019 there were 50,930 drivers involved in 33,244 fatal crashes, in which 36,096 people lost their lives. Seventeen percent of the drivers involved were speeding at the time of the crashes, and 26 percent of those killed were in speeding- related crashes.
  • This is why you should never speed
  • Jack and the other driver didn't survive the crash, and Sami became permanently paralyzed.
  • Sami's story shows why you should avoid speeding at all costs.Speeding not only puts your life at risk, but also it puts the life of others at risk.
  • Stop speeding! And if you are not speeding yourself you can raise awareness about speeding by warning your loved ones about the grave dangers of speeding(friends, family..). And always remember: Driving faster can cause disaster.
