  • This story shows the initial goodness of equality in all sense. But with this it also showcases the ridiculousness of it all. ballerinas showcased to be less beautiful and being weighed down in order to slow them down. This makes them more equal to the audience but also defeats the entire purpose of the show. This also correlates to hazel wanting to have a painful ear piece in her ear in order to be equal to him. which makes no sense. ANd lasty it also connects and applies to the aunnouncers with speech impediments. Equality in this sense defeats the purpose.
