The morning after Grendel went to Herot and snatched up thirty men. The town was in tears for those that died. While Hrothgar their lord just sat there joylessly mourning his lost friends and companions only thinking on what was to come in the future.

After hearing the stories about Grendel attacking Herot. Beowulf one of the strongest Geats commanded a boat out to Herot to see the king. So he then chose fourteen of the most mightiest men he could find and went on his travels.

While eating on his last meal Beowulf and his men sneak up behind Grendel and slice him on his back. Grendel was terrified for his life and wanted nothing but to run away.

After the death of Grendel his mother goes to the town to take vengeance out on the king for her sons death. When getting to Herot she takes Hrothgar's closest friend and kills him. Bringing back sadness to the king and his town.

After Grendel's mother captures Beowulf and brings him to her home they begin to fight. Beowulf see's a sword hanging on her wall and takes it then stabs her in her neck. He then kills Grendel's mother and rejoiced at the sight of her dead.

As Beowulf laid on his death bed he only asked for one thing. That was to be surrounded by his jewels and armor ad he talked about his life. He talked about how he lived a great life and would die happy.
