- Igneous Rocks
- The first type of rock we are going to learn about is Igneous Rocks. Igneous rocks form when magma comes out of earths center (via volcano, etc) and the magma cools forming a rock. Obsidian is a great example!

- Intrusive Igneous Rock form when an igneous rocks forms UNDER the Earth's surface.
- There are 2 types of igneous rocks., Extrusive and Intrusive. Extrusive Igneous rocks are igneous rocks when they solidify ABOVE the Earth's crust.
- Sedimentary Rocks
- The next rock we are learning about are Sedimentary Rocks. Sedimentary rocks are the most common type of rocks on Earth's surface.
- Sedimentary rocks are formed by the comapcting of sediment. Sediemt can be mde up of different loose matrials like minerals and organic remains.
- Metamorphic Rocks
- The last type of rock we will be learning about is Metamorphic Rocks, metaorphic rocks can also be known as the cnanged rock.
- Metamorphic Rocks 2
- Metamorphic Rocks are formed when high pressure and heat act on another type of rock to hange it into its new form, the Metamorphic Rock.
