The Babysitters Club ¨Kirsty´s big idea¨ by: Raina Telgemeier
Introducing the main character: Kirsty
Kira meets a bunch of girl and decides to make a club called the Babysitters Club with them.
The Baby-Sitters Club is formed by four friends: Kristy Thomas, Mary Anne Spier, Claudia Kishi, and Stacey McGill after Kristy's mother couldn't find a sitter for her 6-year-old brother, David Michael. She had the idea of making a club called the BSC. With her friends, Kristy Thomas, Mary Anne Spier, Claudia Kishi, and Stacey McGill.
Middle of the story
Kirsty is 11 years old. She is also the president of the Babysitters club. The setting is mostly at school and at Kirsty's house babysitting and she and the girls babysit kirsty's brother that is 6 years old and kinda annoying.
End of the story
So Kirsty's mom was making multiple calls to find a babysitter for KIrsty's brother, but didn´t get one quite yet. The club would meet at a certain time each week so parents can reach multiple sitters at one time with one phone number. She asked Mary Anne, Claudia, and Stacy to join the club. One problem is Kirsty doesn't wanna tell anyone she has diabetes. In the test it states, ¨I don´t feel confident in telling my secret not yet.¨
Lesson: Hard work pays off
In the middle of the book of course, they were babysitting. Also the first problem was solved she told the club she had diabetes. ¨Guys I never told you this but I have diabetes.¨ All the girls said ¨It´s ok.¨But there was another problem, there were way to many kids they had to babysit and the kids were making a mess everywhere. One of them babysat each person who asks to babysit there kids. They had to clean up after them and stuff like that. It was very challenging for the girls.
In the end, Kirsty had a idea. The idea was to be her brother´s babysitter and working with the rest on their club and still babysitting with them. Kirsty´s brother said ¨Okay that sounds good.¨ Then her mom thanked her when they were still in the car and they went inside.
Kirsty, Mary Anne,Stacy, and Claudia worked really hard to babysit the kids they did. They made a lot of money and also helped each other in the long run with school and other things.I was so happy when Kirsty told everyone she had diabetes because she was confident and trusted the girls. In the end, hard work does pay off.
