- irony means ways things seems and the way they really are. This is an example of irony because she thinks shes not gonna have any friends cause shes not pretty.

- Idiom is a phrase where the words together have a meaning that is different from the dictionary definitions of the individual words. This is an example of idiom because people use this as an a expression meaning its raining hard outside.
- Inference
- Allusions are indirect and usually brief reference to a famous person, place or event. This is an example of Allusion because he is referring to someone famous.
- Parallel episodes
- Motivation means the way a character acts, feels and thinks a certain way. This is an example of motivation because he thinks and feels that way on what to do.

- An inference is a conclusion that you make based off of facts and evidence that combined with your knowledge. This is an example of inference because you can make an inference on what his job is and what he is doing.
- Parallel episodes means events repeating in a story. This is an example of Parallel episodes because the wolf kept repeating on trying to blow the pigs house down.
