- Hey! I’m a drop of water here to tell you a bit about the water cycle. To begin with this is snow. Snow is precipitation, precipitation is snow, hail, sleet, and rain!
- Isn’t it hot here? How has this puddle of water not evaporated yet? Now that we are on the topic of evaporation let me tell you about it. Evaporation is a process of liquids changing into a gas due to temperature increasing and eventually causing liquids to evaporate because of the heat.
- Hey! It’s me again, looks like it’s about to rain here. Rain is another type of precipitation.
- Wow aren’t there a lot of plants here! Since we’re here let me tell you about transpiration. Transpiration is when plants absorb water through the roots they have and then they give water vapor through their leaves. Interesting isn’t it?
- hello again! Look at all this water. Did you know that you could be drinking water that dinosaurs or George Washington once drank?
- Hi again. So by now you might be wondering what happens after precipitation. Well the word is surface run off. This is when precipitation runs off and flows all over the landscape. Well, that’s it for now I hope you enjoyed learning about the water cycle with me.
