Testo Storyboard

  • Type of conflict: Person vs. SelfCole's simple decision changed the entrie couase of the story. If Cole hadnt made thas decison he wouldnt of had the willpower to be able to push forward, he would of died.
  • "He didnt want to die yet, Yes, someday that would be part of his cirlce. Someday he would lie in his own watse and be eaten by maggots. But not now! Suddenly, in that moment, Cole made a siple descison. He wanted to live." Pg. 98, Para 2
  • Type of Conflict: Person Vs. NatureCole's words progress the conflict of the book by showing a side of Cole the reader has never seen. In the beginning of the book Cole called Spirit Bear a "maggy dog" but now he's shown displaying true fear.
  • "Cole cowered on the ground... As the bear turned towards him again Cole screamed, 'No! No more!' but his words came out as course grunts. He collapsed on his back." pg. 85, para 2 (pdf)
  • "Peter bit at his lip before speaking in a struggling, slurred voice. 'I think someone should smash Cole's head against a sidewalk so he knows how it feels." pg. 64, para 2(pdf)
  • Person vs. Person Peters words progress the conflict because it shows the affect Cole has on people. Peter's words express his raw and real emotions and put into perspective Cole's abuse and makes his return later in the book more have a more power impact.
