This is the beginning of the Revolution. This is called the battle of Gonzales. In this scene the Texans are fighting and winning over the Mexican Army. The Texans have a cannon and are yelling "Come and take it!"

Battle of the Alamo
The Battle of the Alamo happened on February 23, 1836. It is a very important event because even though the Texans have already lost this gives the soldiers something to fight for and to be proud of themselves.
This scene shows a picture of William B. Travis writing a letter pleading for help because the Alamo was surrounded by Mexican Soldiers. This happened on February 24, 1836.

This is the Constitutional Convention of 1836. This is where they had a paper and wrote down all the laws they have created and declared that Texas was now independent. This is also when Texas became independent.
