- Mitochondria
- Mitochondria is the power house of a cell and creates energy. In the mall the food court is where people go to get food, which gives them energy
- Nucleus
- The nucleus is the organelle that controls the cells activity. Builds proteins. The workers in a factory would create what ever product that their company produces.
- Chlorplast
- The chloroplast is like a kitchen of a ship because they both make glucose/food for the cell/ship.
- Membrane
- A cell membrane is like a school security guard. A cell membrane controls what is allowed to enter and exit the cell, like a school security guard controls what is allowed in and out the school.
- Ribosome
- Cell Wall
- The walls in a house are similar to the cell walls in a cell. The cell wall is like the wall in a house because the wall helps to protect and and support the house, like the cell wall protects and supports the cell.
- The ribosomes are like Grocery Bags because the ribosomes are the method of transportation for proteins and other substances from the ER to the Golgi apparatus.
