- Ugh, I don't want to go!
- Cmon, It's going to be fun!
- So Lindsey, remember when we used to skate all the time around the neighborhood last reunion?
- Vaguely, the last time I touched a pair of skates is probably when i was like seven.
- Do you ever feel like you just don't fit it?
- All the time. But the difference between me and you is, that I just don't care.
- You don't think mom and dad are gonna split up...Do you?
- Raina and her family (except her dad) are going on a road trip to Colorado to visit their cousins which they haven't seen in a long time. On the way they go sightseeing.
- I don't know...
- Raina and her family got to Colorado. Raina was excited to meet her cousin Lindsey, which she hasn't seen in 10 years. She wants to be more like Lindsey and more cool. She remembers the memories that her and Lindsey had together like when they would skate around the neighborhood all the time. But Lindsey didn't remember and doesn't skate anymore. Lindsey moved on from all her childhood memories with Raina. Lindsey and her cousins would just start talking about random metal stuff that Raina doesn't understand which makes Raina feel kinda left out.
- AHHH SNAAAAAAAAKE!!
- MANGO, HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?
- Raina feels left out and doesn't fit it with everyone else. Her cousins are talking about metal stuff, and her parents are talking about when grandpa was alive. So Raina went outside and found her sister on the doorstep. They later go back home but her dad also doesn't come with them because he's gonna drive her mom crazy.
- I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have left you guys alone.
- It's ok mom. Finding a ride for 4 would have been much harder.
- Raina's parents wanted to spend some time away from each other this summer, so that's the main reason why Raina's dad is not driving with them. She is worried that they might split up. The car broke down when they were on their way back home. So Raina's mom and her brother got a ride with a random stranger to go into town and find a tow truck to fix the car. So that just leaves Raina alone with her sister.
- Raina and her sister find their long lost pet snake, Mango. Raina is scared of snakes and when they lost it in the car she was afraid to go back into the car. Mango came out from under one of the seats in their van.
- Since their car broke down Raina's mom and brother went and got a ride with a random man and called the tow truck to come. After 4 hours they finally got to Raina and Amara. They later go and eat, and Raina tell her mom all about how they saw the snake again.
