- It was a wonderful Thanksgiving day. The fall leaves flew off of all the trees so gracefully and pleasantly. The sun was shining through a calm breeze. You had a relaxing feeling inside of you. You knew it was no ordinary day. Especially when this Thanksgiving day, turns into a wonderful family tradition.
- "No," both mom and dad said in union. "Also, stop asking us when we're ready. We will tell you when we're ready," Mike's dad yelled back.
- "MOM! DAD!" yelled Mike. "Is dinner almost ready?!"
- He ran into the living room to meet up with his sister Sally.
- "MOM!! DAD!!" yelled Mike. "Is dinner almost ready!?"
- "Ok," said Mike.
- "Ok, FOOD FIGHT mission is now a go," said Mike.
- "Not ready yet," said Mike to Sally.
- "I have a plan for that," said Mike. When dinner is ready and we have eaten most of it, and become full, we can throw the rest of it around and have a big FOOD FIGHT. How does that sound?
- "How much longer are they going to take," said Sally in a annoyed voice. "If I was the one who was cooking I think I would be done by now," she said.
- " I usually don't like to play dirty though I am in this time,"she said all sneaky like.
- When the parents came into the dining room they were shocked. The table was set beautifully and Sally and Mike were not bugging them. They were sitting nicely at their desk drawing with crayons, and instead of seeing everything scattered everywhere, all of the crayons were neatly in their boxes and all of the erasers were in neat little piles.
- "Oh my goodness!!!!!!!!"
- "Coming father," said Mike in his deep manly business voice.
- "Coming mother," said Sally in her sweet voice.
- Everyone sat down like they where in a fancy and expensive restaurant, and then they all said a long prayer.
- Sally and Mike were thinking of something to create for thanksgiving and they thought of a centerpiece. They each made little paper cornucopias.
- Their parents were shocked too when they saw their creations. They were afraid to say anything, worried that something crazy would come out.
- Then out of nowhere Mike yelled " WHAT HAPPENED?!" Everyone turned to him in concern, but then all those faces faded away when they knew what Mike was talking about.
- After everyone finished and was too full to eat anymore it was time for Sally and Mike's evil plan ( in their case mission). Mike wipped his hand forward and grabbed a turkey leg and Sally grabbed a bowl of mashed potatoes.Mike flung the turkey leg into his mother's hair and Sally smashed a hand full of potatoes into her father's face. When the parents stared at Sally and Mike they were speechless.Until mom..........
- He was upset that his cornucopia was tilted. He wanted it completely strait. Sally fixed it in the nick of time before Mike was about to blow up. Finally they started to serve. "Can I please have some raisins mother," asked Sally in that sweet voice again. " Me too," said Mike with his mouth already shoved full of food. "Which kind?"she asked. We have the Whole Food version or the ShopRite version."Both," they each said.
- Grabbed a bowl of raisins and waled them at Mike and Sally then dad grabbed the gravy and ran around dripping it on everyones head. This went on forever until they ran out of food.
- THAT WAS AWSOME!!!
- THAT WAS AWSOME!!!
- "Guys,"said mom"I think we found a new family tradition for Thanksgiving!"
- Everyone had a different opinion on the winner and the failure.
