- God orders Jeremiah to warn the people of Jerusalem to stop sinning and start doing good. God was focussed on the sins of individual people. The people were worshipping foreign gods and even sacrificing their own children in their worship.
- Jerimiah
- Jeremiah walks to Jerusalem to warn them about what is going to happen to them. Jeremiah lived in Judah and cared for the people who lived there. He would pray for them, even though God told him not to. A prophet is a person who is a teacher or proclaimer of God's will.
- Jerimiah
- The people of Jerusalem do not believe Jeremiah and say he is just trying to scare them and be a prophet. Jeremiah also stated that they needed to stop worshiping the idols and start worshiping God. But the people disagreed and said they would never stop worshiping them.
- Jerimiah
- Although the people of Judah rejected Jeremiah, the king of Judah at the time was a good king and he believed Jerimiah and ordered the guards to destroy all the Idols.
- Jeremiah was forbidden to ever enter the palace since he stood on top of the house of the lord and said to the people of Judah that they had not shown true faith to god and there was nothing they could do to save themselves. However one day go ordered Jeremiah to make a yolk of wood put it on his neck and take it to the king. When he entered the palace the Kings assistant got very angry at Jeremiah and threw him in a hole. But god sent Jeremiah an assistant to help him escape.
- As Jeremiah had foretold in a few days The Babylon army came and destroyed Judah along with that the took all there valuables and enslaved the people.
