- An officer was doing his patrol Swinging his club when he saw a man was standing outside an old store
- Falling action
- The officer walks by and starts discussing with the man.The man ,named Bob lights up his cigar and tells him he was waiting for his old friend, Jimmy Wells. Bob starts narrating about his friendship with Jimmy.
- Resolution/ Revelation
- The officer ,swinging his club, says goodbye to Bob and starts walking away. The man meets Jimmy Wells who starts talking with him

- Bob: I was at the appointment place on time. When you struck the match to light your cigar I saw it was the face of the man wanted in Chicago. Somehow I couldn't do it myself, so I went around and got a plain- clothes man to the job.JIMMY
- Bob learns that the man who he is talking to is not Jimmy. Bob gets arrested.
