In the short story Rogue wave the protagonist is Sully and the antagonist is the Rogue wave. Therefore the type of conflict in this short story is Human Vs Nature. It is this because the antagonist is a wave and the protagonist is human.

Exposition

In the exposition we learn what a rogue wave Is and we learn about the characters. We learn about the sea dog which is the boat. The characters are Scoot, the girl and Sully, the boy. A rogue wave is a huge wave which can never be expected it is very dangerous.

Rising Action

During the rising action the sea dog was flipped over by the Rogue wave and Sully was flipped of the sea dog while Scoot was fliped under it while the boat was filled with water and couldn't get out.

Climax

COME ON GET OUT!!!

At this point during the climax Scoot is stuck and Sully is doing all he can to get his sister scoot out, but he can not find a way to get her out. He is questioning if she is even alive but he keeps on trying to find a way to get her out.

Falling Action

How did I end up here, I have an Idea to get out.

Now Scoot is alive and knows a way to get out. Sully and Scoot can not communicate since the wood is so thick, Scoot sees a toolbox and a little opening and has an idea.
Resolution

What happen

Rogue wave
Now Scoot found a way out and was so happy. Then a fisherman came by and asked if they need a ride and they said yes.
