  • Anaphase is a stage in cell division where chromosomes are pulled apart, ensuring each new cell gets a complete set. In soccer, players on opposing teams can be seen as somewhat like chromosomes, each with a specific role and purpose. During anaphase, there's a clear separation happening, similar to how players try to separate from their opponents to make a goal.
  • Imagine a swimming race as a metaphor for cell division. The moment the swimmers touch the opposite ends of the pool is like telophase, where the separated chromosomes reach their designated poles. The formation of new nuclear envelopes is akin to the swimmers being enclosed by the pool walls or lanes
  • A river flowing and cytokinesis share something in the sense of movement and division. In cytokinesis, a cell divides into two daughter cells, each with its own set of organelles and genetic material. Similarly, a river flowing involves the continuous movement and division of water as it travels along its course, splitting and branching into various places. If you think about it, the flow of a river and cytokinesis both reflect processes of change and progression.
