- Long long ago there lived a wise old woman and her young farmer son. They lived in Japan where a deceptive lord ruled over their village.
- Climax
- WHAT!?
- Give me 1,000 ropes of ash!
- The young lord declared all elders over the age of 71, must go to the mountains to die because the young lord thinks elders are useless.
- Falling Action
- How do you know all of the taks ?! Not even the wise men know this!
- My wise old mother has been helping me with the tasks
- The young farmer took his mother to the mountains but he couldn't just leave her there so he snuck her back into their house. He dug a hole in their kitchen floor and hid her in there for the years to come.
- Resolution
- I am changing the decree... Elders hold much wisdom so they now don't have to go to the mountains to die!
- Lord Higa, the lord of the other village, declared that the village has to complete 3 impossible tasks. If they don't complete the tasks he will conquer the village. The young farmer goes to the wise old woman and she knows al the answers to the tasks.
- The young lord asks the young farmer who is helping him how to complete these tasks, the young farmer tells the young lord.
- The young lord decided to change the decree because elders hold much wisdom.
