- So... I hear you've trespassed upon these grounds on the promise of a well-kept story.I applaud your bravery in making it this far, as the trials were demanding.As a reward, dear traveler, come and hear the tale of a creature waiting to be heard. A tale that, I assure you, won't be forgotten anytime soon.
- You see, this creature was formed by the ideas of people like you, mere citizens. They were called a bill. Once formed, they gathered enough support and confidence among Representatives to feel that they could introduce themselves to the official House of Representatives. So, they waltzed into the hopper, a special box where bills met and camped, waiting to be assigned a name. The name started with H.R. and ended with a number.
- After an excruciatingly long wait, our bill was finally sent to present themself in front of all the Representatives. Their presentation was then sent to the committee, a pack of experts who reviewed and fixed anything sent their way. The bill was scared they would be deemed unworthy of being sent back to the House to present again, but they succeeded in going back.So, the newly revised bill was ready to be voted on.
- And there were three ways to vote the bill: standing or sitting, saying yes or no, or voting electronically. In all three cases of the bill's imagination shown, yes won, and it did in real life too!
