- Perseus and his mother, Danae, are imprisoned by Perseus' grandfather and end up on an island where a malevolent king desires to marry Danae. The king tasks Perseus with the dangerous mission of slaying Medusa and bringing back her head as proof.

- A malevolent king on the island seeks to marry Danae, so he sends Perseus on a dangerous mission to slay Medusa and bring back her head, with the intention of marrying Danae himself. As Perseus embarks on this quest, he becomes increasingly fearful of the possibility of dying at the hands of the fearsome Gorgon. Just when his anxiety peaks, he hears a mysterious voice.

- Perseus travels to the location of the three sisters to take their sole eye. He hides in a bush and waits until one of the sisters drops the eye, then he swiftly grabs it. When he inquires about Medusa’s whereabouts, the sisters reveal her location. Perseus then returns their eye to them.

- Falling Action Resolution

- Resolution: Perseus arrives at Medusa's cave while she and the three Gorgons are asleep. Using Minerva's shield and the curved sword, he carefully slices off Medusa's head. With the head in hand, he swiftly exits the cave.Conclusion: Upon returning to the castle, Perseus presents Medusa's head to the king, who had demanded it. However, Perseus discovers that his mother is being held captive by the king. As the king gazes upon the head, he is turned to stone and meets his end.
