- At a baseball game, Casey's team is losing and every body is in despair because all their team mates have struck out and it's almost Casey's turn to bat.Casey's team was down by two and losing.
- Climax
- Flynn and Jimmy didn't give up on Casey and the team was so convinced that they were going to lose that they didn't even think Casey would make it to the bat. Flynn got a single and Blake tore the cover of the ball making the chances of coming back higher.
- Climax
- Casey was at ease though the situation seemed glum. He didn't think he would make it but he is still showing pride as he walked onto the plate and everyone was surprised that Casey was at the bat.
- Resolution
- Casey watched the ball come like it was in slow motion he sneers and thinks, that was a terrible pitch! that is not what I can hit. everybody is mad that the umpire called that a strike but Casey signaled them to not be violent.
- Casey was ready for the next ball. the pitcher threw and Casey didn't swing. It was strike two. Every one was furious that the umpire called it a strike and Casey was mad.
- Casey is ready for the third ball. the ball is thrown it is a tstrike and is out. There is no joy in Mudville
