- The Grandmother is reading out about a man on the loose from prison in Florida because they are planning to take a trip there and the Grandmother would rather go to Tennessee and I believe she said this to scare Bailey to going there and she never was never really worried about the Misfit

- “Here this fellow that calls himself The Misfit is aloose from the Federal Pen and headed toward Florida and you read here what it says he did to these people. Just you read it. I wouldn’t take my children in any direction with a criminal like that aloose in it. I couldn’t answer to my conscience if I did.
- “I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if he didn’t attact this place right here,”
- In the Restaurant when the Grandmother was talking to Red Sammy his Wife came up and had the plates of food and the Grandmother asked if they knew about the misfit and the Wife said he would probably rob the Restaurant and the couple had a very negative outlook on people and after he sent away his wife he brought up how a good man is hard to find.
- “Did you read about that criminal, The Misfit, that’s escaped?”
- After the car falling in a ditch a man and 2 other men came out and helped and after a while the Grandmother reconized him as the misfit and he told her it wouldove been better if she hadent reconized him and then Bailey her son yells something at her and makes her cry because he was angry.
- “Yes’m,” “but it would have been better for all of you, lady, if you hadn’t of reckernized me.”
- “You’re The Misfit!” “I recognized you at once!”
