  • The Marriage
  • You are now husband and wife.
  • Henry VIII wanted to divorce Catherine of Aragon and marry Anne Boleyn. The pope did not allow it because in Catholic church law you are not supposed to divorce. Also, because Catherine of Aragon's cousin was the Holy Roman emperor, and he could be very mad.
  • The End

  • Henry VIII had a plan to make his own church. Since the Catholic Church wouldn't allow him to divorce he decided to make his own church. His church that he created was the church of England.
  • After Henry finally made a new church and divorced Catherine he got married to Anne boleyn.
  • Although Henry went thorough making a new church just to marry Anne Boleyn, the marriage didn't go well. It ended with Anne Boleyn getting decapitated. Then Henry had four more wives, but he could do whatever he wanted all because he made his own church of England.
