- Odysseus was curious about the cyclopes and wanted to go see them for himself. So he took his best fighters to go see the cyclopes. They went looking around and they find a cave, which they went inside the to see if the cyclopes home. It wasn't there so they waited for him while eating some cheese.
- When the cave's Cyclops came back he put a huge boulder and placed it in the doorway of where Odysseus and his men came through to get inside. Then the Cyclops spots them and declares to know who they are in which they introduce themselves.
- The Cyclops unwelcoming, eats some of Odysseus's men, so Odysseus grabbed his sword and went to go and attack, but stops running toward the Cyclops because if he killed the Cyclops now, him and his men wouldn't be able to move boulder blocking the doorway.
- Odysseus gives the Cyclops some strong wine as a gift and soon the Cyclops felt very drunk and fell over to where Odysseus and his men grabbed the hot stake and stabbed it into the Cyclops's eye. Which it blinds him and makes him be in intense pain and tells him Nohbdy did it.
- Since the Cyclops was now blind Odysseus tied his men and himself to the sheep and waited till morning when the Cyclops let his sheep out to graze the field. Once the they were out Odysseus unties him and his men from the sheep and take the sheep with them.
- Once Odysseus and his men got back their ship. Odysseus reveals himself by yelling out to the Cyclops that his name Odysseus, he lives on an island called Ithaca, and his fathers name is Laertes. The Cyclops got mad and grabbed a rock from the side of a hill and threw it at Odysseus ship and misses. So the Cyclops prays to Poseidon to prevent Odysseus from ever returning home in which Poseidon hears his call and starts to do throughout Odysseus's Journey.
