- We were terrified of the noises coming from the bushes! We quickly gathered our belongings and ran inside the lake house.
- As soon as we locked the door we realized that we cannot stay inside the house, because the fire had been left unattended. Every single one of us was shaking in fear, but then my sister volunteered to go outside and put the fire out.
- Then we all prepared to go to sleep, but we were too frightened, so we just listened to the silence and whispered every now and then to each other ''did you hear that?!''
- *step-step-step*
- As we fell asleep, suddenly we heard heavy footsteps as if someone was walking on the porch. We were hoping it was a wild pig, but it sounded heavier than that...
- For about half an hour we were too frightened to have a look outside the window. It was completely dark and quiet. Every one of us was imagining the worst. Then Darek suggested he will have a look...
- Guys don't worry! It's just a deer!
- All of us ran to the window to see the deer up close. It was a very beautiful animal. My friends and I felt relieved that there was no danger to us. However, we could not fall asleep as we were overwhelmed with emotions. We shared stories, played monopoly and went to sleep right before the sunrise.
