- Grandma Roz came downstairs and asked what happened, so my mom told her all about it.

- Josh ate the lightbulb in a flashlight.
- What happened?
- My mom told my brother to get Grandma Roz while she called my father.
- My mom drove me, Grandma Roz, and my brother to the South Hampton Hospital, and Grandma Roz was calling my father.
- Jake, go get Grandma Roz while I call your father.

- Yes, Mom.
- When we got there, we went immediately to the emergency room.
- My mom decided to bring me and my brother back home and bring me to the hospital in Newton Wellesley that we usually go to for emergencies and check ups.
- Hi, we need to go to the emergency room.
- Right this way.
- The doctors there told my mom to wait and see if I was going to throw up and, of course, I did.
- The nurses checked on me in the emergency room and my mom asked them for a gastroenterologist, as that is what my grandpa (her dad, who was also a pediatrician) told her to look for.
- Do you have a gastroenterologist?
- What's that?
- We had to take the ferry back to Connecticut, and Grandma Roz joined us to take care of my brother.
- As soon as we got to the dock in Connecticut, Grandma Roz went back on the ferry to go back to Long Island.
- Bye!
- Oh, thank goodness!

- We got there close to 8 PM.
- My mom drove us all the way through Connecticut and Massachusetts to Newton Wellesley Hospital.
- They were kind enough to stay and help us with our dilemma and they ended up running multiple scans on me.
- When we finally got to the doctor's office, my mom told the nurse and doctor all that had happened.
- He ate a lightbulb!
- Ok, thanks.
- Oh no!
- We'll stay until the glass has gone through his system.
- We'll, do some scans!
