- A long time ago, when the world was still new, Hera longed for a servant. She needed someone who would aid her in times of need and to serve her for all time. That’s when Iris came and she fought with her sister about Zues. Her sister decided to betray Zues, but Iris stayed loyal. As a gift, Hera let her be her servant which is a very big thing. She was her servant for hundreds and thousands of years until one day when things changed.

- A gorgeous girl named Evangeline did a huge favor to Hera. She helped Hera spy on Zeus and catch who he was cheating on her with.As a gift Hera said, “Because you have done this great favor for me, I will let you be something less than a servant to me, for of course Iris is my first and only servant.” At this, Evangeline scowled. Luckily Hera didn’t see. Evengeline was thinking, “I should be the first. I should be the one and only servant to Hera. I will get rid of Iris, I will…

- Later that week, when Evangeline was Olympus, Iris went to meet Evangeline. Right from the beginning Iris knew something was wrong from the way she talked to the way she acted towards Iris. Evengeline was being so obnoxiously nice it was hard to think. “Oh hello Iris! How nice it is to meet you!” “Hello my dear Evangeline… is something wrong?” “Of course not Iris! How are you today?” “Good. Is there anything you want to know about being a servant?” “I’m good, thank you. What an honor it is to have you here! Would you like something to drink?”
- What Iris didn’t know is that Evangeline wanted to get rid of her. She didn’t know that Evangeline wanted her out of her way for good. Evangeline was going to poison the wine given to Iris and make it look like she died accidentally. However, Evangeline didn’t know anything either. That Hera always knew what was going on, for she had eyes everywhere. She saw Evangeline pour the poison.When Evengeline was gone, Hera came to talk to Iris.
- “Iris dear, be careful. This girl is not as nice as she seems. Do not drink what she gives you.” And then she left. Even though she was confused, Iris listened. When Evengeline came out with her drink she pretended to drink it but did not.Hera came out and confronted Evengeline. “Because of your actions I can not allow you here. You have proved to me you are unworthy.”
- Evangeline tried to run away but Hera captured her and turned her into light. She gave this light for Iris to use when needed and it was called rainbows.
